Christmas Gifts
OK. So I need to make up for the fact that I haven't updated this is SO long! Sorry!!! Here's a few things I had planned to sell at the craft show...that I'm not doing now. Let me know what you think!
The one with the manger is my favorite! First of all, I used a stamp that I used for my first handmade Christmas cards that I sent out a few years ago so I'm a little partial to the set! But I love the frame because of how simple it is but also because of the statement it makes...at least to me. When I decided to make a frame like this, I really had to think about it because people buy frames to put pictures in! I didn't want to make a frame where people thought it was almost like Jesus himself should be in the frame instead of a family picture, ya know? But this turned out just the way I wanted it to and I'm so glad!
Of course this is another favorite. GO BUCKEYES!!!! I made this one simply because of my love for the Buckeyes. And I'm sure I have plenty of pictures to stick in it. It's not my favorite frame that I've done because of the type of frame...it was a little harder to stamp and so it didn't quite turn out how I had wanted but I'm still pretty happy with it. Again, another non-CTMH stamp set but I don't remember which one!
And this is my only Thanksgiving frame. I made this as a gift to a few friends. The leaves are from a stamp set I bought at Target. And the letters are non-CTMH as well but again, can't remember where they're from!!
Excuse the pictures were you see paint. Most of the frames came with inserts that I left in so I could paint and not worry about where the paint went! They'll come out when I sell or give them away!
Let me know what you think!!!

New Bridesmaids Cards

My bridesmaids cards are what has really kept things consistently steady for Heavenly Creations and women just love them!! But as I went to pick up supplies for them the other day, I was greeted with the fact that THEY NO LONGER SELL THE FLOWER PAPER I USE TO MAKE THEM! So I was a little discouraged. Why would I want to mess with something that's worked so well???
But today, it came to me! WOO HOO! And I'm now offering two different cards. The poem inside of the cards is the same as the poems before. But the outsides are different!
And along with that, I decided these would also make great Bridesmaids presents! You can send your bridesmaid(s) one of these cards to ask them to be in your wedding and then as a thank you, purchase a card box with notecards (either design) with their name (blank inside) placed inside!!! Adorable!!!!
If you're interested in any of these designs or knowing more, just let me know!!

Site Construction
I've decided to redesign the website for Heavenly Creations. For the time being, the website will stay the way it is until everything is updated. But that means I won't be adding anything new. I'll keep you updated. My hope is to get a good portion of it done over the weekend but it's supposed to be beautiful out so I may enjoy the warm weather! :-)
If you've never seen my website, check it out: http://www.heavenlyc.com. Take a look around and see what it looks like at the moment. Then when I get the new one up, you'll be able to see the differences!!! And hopefully how much easier this one is to use...assuming I get it to work the way I want it too! Wish me luck!

Graduation Time

It's spring! And that means Prom. And then Graduation! I didn't really design anything last year for graduation. I just didn't have the time...or the ideas. But I've got one design for this year so far and I've done a couple of different things with it.
The original design is actually the third card you see (says "dream job" at the top). They're all made in the file folder design. The original design is a Congratulations card (con0001). The inside reads: You've done it! For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37. The inside is printed on yellow legal paper which makes it even more unique!
The first card you see is actually the smallest of the three. That's the graduation gift card holder. Graduation is a time when lots of money and gifts cards are given. And this gift card holder is the perfect size for any gift gift card. (gc0006b)
The second card is a graduation party invitation. (gradi0001) And this one is customizable! You can change the color of the file folder and/or the rectangle on the front! Perfect for those school colors! All of the party information is printed on the inside on the yellow legal paper and for an additional cost, you can include your seniors' picture (no copyrighted photos) in the invitation as well!
If you're interested in any of these designs, just contact me! Love to hear from you!

OOPS!
I realized that I listed the papers wrong! It's actually A-D BOTTOM to TOP! So the top paper is D!!!
It's a close race. I've gotten several replies and here's where they stand at the moment.
1)B
2)D
3)C
4)A
So keep those votes coming!

Project 1

I've decided to start a new project every month and I need your help. At least once a month, I'm going to post at least 4 different papers (like you see above). Then I want everyone to vote for their favorite piece of paper. I'll take that paper (probably more than one sheet) that receives the most votes, and try to make as many projects and cards with it as I can think of. Voting for these papers will last until Monday evening. So leave a comment or email me with your vote. Just email with a letter A-D (top to bottom). It's that easy! And if you have a project idea...say, you'd like to see a graduation card made out of paper D, let me know that too! I'd love to hear your ideas! So start voting!!!!!!!!!!!!**All papers are from EKSuccess**

Card Class
Many of you have shown interest in participating in a card class with me. Thank you for that interest! I'd love to do it and so my PLAN is to try one in May. I'd like to get past Easter and my best friend having her second baby. Plus, there are still details I need to hash out. But I'd love to know if you're interested. So if you leave nearby, leave me a comment (or email me) and tell me your name, what day of the week would work best for you and any other information you'd like to share with me. As details come together and more ideas come in, I'll pass them along to you. But make sure to let me know if you're interested! I've got to have an idea of how many people will be interested so I can try to find a space for us.
So please let me know if you're interested and all of that other information you'd like to pass on! I'll keep you updated!

Designing Paper

OK. So if you've been reading my personal blog, you know that I've become a little addicted to digital scrapbooking. My cousin introduced me to this program (to make a long story short) and in the process of playing with it for digital scrapbooking, I realized I could use this program for Heavenly Creations and card designs! So tonight, I concentrated on designing a few sheets of paper...one of which I LOVE! I just haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet. But here it is. Let me know what you think! And of course, if you have a card idea, pass it this one!
The wording reads: You put a song in my heart

Save the Date

I debated on posting this invitation. It's not that I don't like it! It's that the scan did this invitation no justice and so I'm not sure I like it on the scan. But I decided to post it anyway so that people can see it and get an idea of what all I do.
This is another invitation that is completely customizable. Everything from the color to the wording is customizable to fit the customer. The corners of the invitation are rounded which add a modern look to it.
I did this invitation for a customer and she was quite happy with them. I would love to do more of them. They're fun and I think they are a great compliment to any wedding invitation ensemble.
If you're interested, just contact me!

Baby Shower

I know this post is a little late and I apologies! I'm changing things and working on things so it took me a few extra days to get to this.
I wanted to share with you the Baby Shower invite I did for a friend. A few of us are throwing her a shower this coming Sunday and I did the invitations for it. I took a few ideas her little girl had along with some of my own and came up with this! I had fun with it. I love the bear's butt! It's definitely going to be another card that will be available for purchase! My goal will be to get it up on the website within a week but if you're interested before you see it up, just let me know!

Congratulations

Since I've started Heavenly Creations, I've really been into the colors pink and brown or blue and brown...I've even made my business colors pink, blue and brown! So when I came across this paper, I knew I had to do something with it! This card actually came easy to me (which isn't always the case). And it's one of my favorites!
The inside reads: This is just the beginning of the beautiful things God has planned for you!

Anniversary Cards

I haven't spent much time concentrating on things like anniversaries or specific birthdays or things like that. Most of my time is spent on wedding invitations, holiday cards and things that people usually buy in groups. But as I was working on wedding ideas, it ocurred to me that this people will eventually need anniversary cards! So I've been trying to come up with more ideas for anniversaries. Something that's not so "girly" but also something that is related to love. This latest one is my favorite so far. I left the inside blank because I'm the type of person who sends anniversary cards to people I know well...and I like being able to write them a special message about how I see their marriage and their love. And I know that marriage is a work in progress so I believe those words can be very encouraging to couples. If you're interested in purchasing this card or any others you see here or on my site, just contact me! And let me know what you think of this latest card! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

One of My Favorites

This happens to be one of my favorite cards...well, invitations. Not only my favorite but probably one I'm most proud of. I love the design (despite the fact that the vellum takes a lot of work). But I really love the fact that every paper change and color change makes it look completely different. They can be elegant or fun or modern or just simple. And I love them all! I've only done one I didn't like...and as soon as the customer gave me the color combo and how she wanted it set up, I told her up front i thought it would look like Santa Claus. And it did!
This is one of the invitations that really started business going out a more consistant rate last year. I want to say I introduced this card some time in Feb. of 2006 and put it on ebay. Every time I put it on, I got an order for it. I took it off in Sept. when I introduced the Will You Be My Bridesmaid cards and just recently put it back on ebay. And sure enough, I got an order from it!
I also make Thank You's to match these invitations so that if a customer wants to give the bride some Thank You's that she will definitely need after her shower, she can have it all to match!

The New Blog

Hello, all!!! I've decided to start a blog for my little business...a way of staying in touch and keeping everyone updated on what's happening business wise, showing new ideas I have and getting some feedback on it all! I'd like to make this the place you go when I've downloaded new things to my site and added new products. Instead of getting a lengthy and big email, you can just come here and check things out!
I want to get my name out there! I want people to see what I can do so I need your help! First of all, any suggestions on how else to get my name out there would be greatly appreciated! I want to hear all of the ideas you have! Second, pass this address on to others! The more people that read this, the more people that will see my website and see what I can do! So pass this along!
Leave your comments! I'd love to hear what you have to say! THANKS IN ADVANCE!
